About the exhibition

THE ONLY RENTAL EXHIBITION
Building Machinery has long been the most important meeting place for the Rental industry in Sweden. Many of the visitors have a direct or indirect interest in Rental. All of the major rental companies will be on hand. And as usual, broad representation is expected from groups in the building and construction sector that rent machines and tools.

GOOD MIX OF VISITORS
More than half of the visitors come from southern Sweden (approximately 50 percent of them are from the west coast). Most of them are active in the building and construction industries. The two largest categories are people from executive management and construction workers. A great majority of the visitors are responsible for, or have a great deal of influence over, purchasing.

THEME: PROTECTION & SAFETY
In addition to the well-known and appreciated features such as Power Tool Street and Concrete Cutting, we have added a number of new elements to the 2009 fair. One of these is the theme Protection and Safety, which will include everything from preventive work to create safer working environments to the kinds of protection available for different types of dangerous tasks.

HAPPENINGS ON THE FLOOR
Another new element of the fair is that there will be activities on the floor of the exhibition centre; surprising features that are guaranteed to attract attention. Some of them will have an obvious connection to the safety theme. We can promise that there will be action at Building Machinery 2009. Literally speaking. But we won’t reveal anything more than that right now.
