The Swedish Exhibition Centre enjoys the best of all possible locations. It's a city-centre venue with all that this implies in efficiency, convenience and leisure facilities. There is a taxi rank and stops for airport buses, trams and local buses right outside the main entrance.

Our large exhibition and conference complex is located on Korsvägen, right in the middle of what is known as The Area of Events, next door to Scandinavium Indoor Stadium, the new National Museum of World Cultures, Universeum, a large science centre and aquarium, and directly opposite Liseberg, the largest amusement park in Scandinavia.


Nearby Ullevi stadium, with seating for 50,000 spectators, has hosted the World Athletics Championships, European Football Championships, big name rock concerts (Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, etc.) and other spectacular events.


Gothenburg has what it takes to make your visit a memorable one. The Avenyn boulevard, packed with restaurants, pubs and shops, lies within a few minutes' walk. And there is no shortage of cinemas, theatres and night clubs.


Gothenburg is also a lively cultural centre. The city's Museum of Art, which has been awarded three stars in Guide Rouge, the Concert Hall, home of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra - Sweden's National Orchestra, and Gothenburg City Theatre are within easy walking distance.


The modern Gothenburg Opera House, with its first-class acoustics and renowned repertoire is another popular cultural venue. The internationally acclaimed Botanical Gardens, Gothenburg City Museum and the Museum of Natural History are other nearby sources of relaxation and inspiration.
