Elfack's core is the same as ever and all who have ever visited the trade show will feel at home. Our theme days enable us to create added value for visitors and exhibitors alike. Recruitment Day
The electrical engineering sector isn't just more complex, it is also on the brink of a generation shift. We face new demands to secure the sector's expansion, particularly for the venue's key areas of installation, safety, distribution of electricity, data- and telecommunication and lighting. Students meet representatives for important education programmes and booths are manned by HR personnel to meet tomorrow's employees.
Environment and Energy Day
Environment and energy issues are becoming more important which is positive for our industry. This is reflected among the venue's exhibitors who widely promote energy-efficient and energy-saving solutions. Another hot topic is the energy declaration of buildings. Target groups include corporate management and environmental managers.
Property Day
More of the work traditionally done by electricians now involves data and telecommunication, alarms and surveillance. Integrated systems, lighting control systems and energy-saving solutions are increasingly important. Extensive remodelling needs offer new opportunities for the future. Property Day highlights all these issues and the exhibitors' innovative products and solutions. Target groups are property owners and security managers.
Design Day
More and more, design is becoming a key competitive factor in electrical engineering and lighting. New products must attract end users via a design that is as functional and user-friendly as possible and appeals to the eye. Design Day accents these aspects and is aimed at consultants and architects. The winner of the 2009 Elfack Design Award will be presented in recognition of design's prominence.
Anniversary Day
A lot has happened since 1969 when Elfack was founded and pioneering electrical engineers helped to put the first man on the moon. We will celebrate our 40th anniversary in the same pioneering spirit. Besides our anniversary, we celebrate our sector's excellent prospects and reflect on what we can do to make the next 40 years even more positive and stimulating. Ideas about the future and special anniversary activities are scheduled.
