The 2007 Water fair, held at the Swedish Exhibition Centre in Göteborg, beat all records in terms of number of exhibitors, number of visitors, number of seminars, etc. The water and waste water industry gave the fair a very good rating, and in line with the wishes of the organisations behind the event, the Swedish Exhibition Centre will arrange the next fair, Water 2009, in Stockholm.
“We are, of course, very proud that the industry has also chosen us to arrange next year’s event,” says Anki Fagerström, Exhibition Manager, Water 2009. “The entire exhibition team looks forward to developing the concept and arranging the fair in Stockholm.”
Water (VA-mässan) is a trade fair for the water supply and waste water management sectors. The event, the sixth of its kind, is being jointly arranged by VARIM (Swedish Association of Suppliers of Effluent and Water Treatment Equipment), Svenskt Vatten (Swedish Water & Wastewater Association), Föreningen Vatten (Swedish Association for Water) and the Swedish Exhibition Centre.
2009 seminar programme all set for success – Special day for exports
The Water fair seminar programme is being designed to attract people from every section and area of expertise within the whole water and waste water sector. The complete programme will consist of some 14 half-day seminars, plus a full-day seminar on finding foreign markets for Swedish technology and know-how.
The seminars will be held in Swedish.
New rules for Water Championships will enable more to compete!
There will be a lot of business done at Water 2009. There will also be much to see and learn in the fields of technological developments, export potential, and climate change. There will also be competitions in practical problem solving in a narrow space and within a limited time. We are talking, of course, about the Water Championships 2009.
