“Elfack is one of our most important contact forums” »

“Elfack is where we meet lots of customers and other interested parties,” says Stefan Lindgren, Manager Front End Sales (Power), Swedish Sales, ABB Power Products & Systems. “In fact, it’s our biggest and best contact forum.”

“We had two main themes at the 2007 exhibition - Energy Efficiency and Reliable Electricity Networks. We think it’s a concept worth repeating. After all, we’ve got a wide range of products, systems and services for high and low voltage solutions that benefit companies and the environment.”

“Climate-smart energy efficiency generates double profits” »

“Elfack 2009 will give us a perfect opportunity to present our ‘Schneider Energy Action Program’ to a huge number of customers,” says Claes Anselmsson, Manager Services & Projects.

“You can gain a lot, money-wise and environment-wise, by reducing energy consumption. So we’ve started an in-house energy-saving project. Stage one aims at enabling every employee to reduce their electricity consumption by 10%. To do this, we’re reviewing all our manufacturing units, linking measurement test results, regulating motor speeds, improving electricity quality with phase compensation, upgrading property automation and introducing intelligent lighting control.”

“Today’s electricity sector must show that we can
reduce unnecessary energy consumption” »

“Elfack’s an important venue when it comes to energy and the environment,” says Jeanette Olsson, Information Manager, Osram AB. “Of course, the two subjects go hand in hand. The electricity sector must show consumers that we can lessen the burden on the environment. That is, if we all work together to reduce unnecessary energy consumption,”

“The environment’s important to Osram. The main burden on it is caused by product energy consumption. So we’ve put a lot of effort into producing energy-efficient solutions. We were the first to introduce modern low-energy lamps. We also have a wide range of halogen lamps. You gain an immediate energy saving of up to 30% when you replace an ordinary lamp with one of our halogen lamps. And we’re always looking at our own manufacturing processes; recyclable products are very high on our agenda.”
