Paris, London, New York, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Milan - Design exhibition to be featured at Scanpack in Gothenburg
Iggesund challenged design industry with Black Box Project. Resultant exhibition made headlines in some of the world´s most influential design cities.
Now coming to Scanpack, Gothenburg, 23-26 October.
Two years ago, Iggesund Paperboard challenged two design agencies: Landor in Paris and van Heertum Design, Tilburg, Holland. The brief was to create an exciting interior for an already specified black box.
Their creations were unveiled in Paris. After which, the design challenge was successively extended as it was handed on to a new design agency with a subsequent new exhibition in each new country.
“The exhibition has now grown from a small phenomenon to one requiring two trucks,” says Staffan Sjöberg, Public Relations Manager, Iggesund.
The exhibition has been shown in Paris, London, New York, Amsterdam and Hamburg. This spring it went on to Milan. And now it is coming to Gothenburg.
Participating designers:
Landor Design, Paris, France
Van Heertum Design, Tilburg, Netherlands
Brunazzi & Associati, Turin, Italy
Marc Benhamou, New York, USA
Sebastian Onufszak, Augsburg, Germany
Jeff Nishinaka, Los Angeles, USA
This will be the first time in 15 years that Iggesund is taking part in Scanpack. The reason for its return to the event is that Scanpack’s organisers at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre have realigned the ethos of the fair towards softer elements, such as creativity and design.
