The premiere of Nordic Outdoor - a new, high pulse event for active lifestyles at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg!
Premier for Nordic Outdoor May 2013
Climbing, hiking, running, cycling, skiing, adventure, travel, kayaking, diving, outdoor equipment, inspiration, photography, food. May 3rd - 5th, 2013 will be the premiere of Nordic Outdoor at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg, Sweden. Nordic Outdoor is a new experience-based lifestyle event for active outdoor people.
The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre is launching a new event. Nordic Outdoor is aimed at everyone who is already active or interested in outdoor recreation. The event will be focused on the experience and the ambition is to cover most activities within the outdoor lifestyle. Climbing, skiing, cycling, jogging/running, hiking/trekking, scuba diving, kayaking/canoeing, surfing, kiting, travel, adventure, film and photography.
“Nordic Outdoor is a modern event/trade fair concept that is warmly welcomed by the industry. The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre´s aim to highlight younger activities with more pulse and nerve will attract more people of all ages to experience new things in nature, regardless of whether they want to rev up or down,” says Martin Kössler, General Secretary of the Scandinavian Outdoor Group.
“It is really great that Gothenburg is investing in this kind of fair. It just makes sense to hold the exhibition in one of Sweden´s strongest outdoor areas where the conditions for outdoor recreation are so vast, with roots in everything from kayaking, mountain biking, trail running and climbing,” says Jonas Hellentin, Regional President of Friluftsfrämjandets region West.
The experience and community feel are important ingredients. This mixed with knowledge and facts, news, products and equipment will create a unique event that will attract visitors from all over Scandinavia. Nordic Outdoor will offer visitors the chance to experience and try out activities on site. It will also host outdoor related competitions, such as in climbing.
“The timing is just right for a public outdoor event in Gothenburg and we look forward to creating a meeting place for everyone who is curious, engaged and interested in the outdoors,” says Angela Anyai, Exhibition Manager for Nordic Outdoor.
Nordic Outdoor will be arranged by the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Center and will take place at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Center and Valhalla on May 3rd-5th 2013.
